Welcome!  In September 2008, Cougar English students in Mr. Cunningham’s classes created podcasts in conjunction with their respective literature units.  Eighth grade students used iPhoto and GarageBand to create podcasts which reflect their impressions of the novel The Giver by Lois Lowry.  Students used digital cameras to take photos outdoors on school grounds.  Students then dropped the photos into iPhoto and manipulated the images to correspond with scenes in the book.  Using GarageBand students selected an excerpt from The Giver, recorded their reading, and selected theme music to go along with their podcast.
